Dr. Friedman uses interventional oncology, vein therapies and minimally invasive procedures to help patients. As a young man growing up in Cheshire CT, Dr. Friedman knew he wanted to become a doctor. After 14 years of higher education he become an interventional radiologist. Following medical school, he worked as a radiology resident at Yale-New Haven Hospital, and as an assistant professor at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City. Now, Dr. Friedman is a leading expert and partner at Advanced Vein & Aesthetics. His days are now spent helping patients using image-guided techniques to treat some kinds of cancer, alleviate the pain and symptoms of uterine fibroids and fix vascular diseases such as varicose veins and blocked arteries.
